Mercedes AMG

Mercedes AMG
Mercedes AMG is a luxury car model of the Grand Tourer-type from Mercedes-Benz, German auto producer. Mercedes AMG is the first Mercedes model that is fully developed by the Mercedes AMG department, replacing Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. Mercedes-Benz describes SLS AMG as a successor to the 1950s Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, not least because of the gull wing doors, which the two models have in common.

SLS AMG is designed to be a modern variant of the classic Mercedes model 300 SL Gullwing. The Mercedes AMG has a long bonnet, cabin is located very far behind – in front of the rear axle – and the car’s rear is very short. Coupé variant of SLS AMG is also equipped with gull wing doors that swing upward, instead of so-called butterfly doors that the SLR McLaren – which swings up and forward. In a well-rounded, both doors removed from the car so that passengers can get out of the car.
